Women's Ministry
Our Women's Ministry is an incredible group of diverse women of God. We range from the ages of teens to mature women with a lot of wisdom—and we value the warm, inter-generational connections we have developed with one another, as mothers, daughters, and sisters in our church family. Annually, we enjoy planning events such as our Women's Day, A Night-Out at the Movies, campsite retreats, and paint nights. Most importantly, we love deep biblical teaching from God's Word to help us preach the word in all seasons.
Women's Day
Women's Day is our largest signature Women's Ministry event of the year. Each Women's Day has a thoughtful theme, guest speaker, live worship, moving testimonies, and special performances of music, spoken word, and dance. A hand-crafted, buffet-style lunch follows. The event is held in the month of March, International Women's Month, to honor our women and create space to celebrate our unique relationship with God.
Women's Retreat
Biennially, we host a Women's Retreat to leave the busyness of our lives for a few days and focus on our relationships with God and each other at a campsite just outside of Louisville. At these retreats, we engage in deep study of God's Word in His creation—among the woods, by a campfire, or in a cabin. We take prayer walks together and sing praises under the stars. We pour our hearts out to God and to the women close to us. We forge new relationships and call one another higher, as Proverbs 27:17 compels us to. We retreat, just as Jesus did.
